Organization XIV is a friendly, fun-focused Free Company on the Hyperion Server in Final Fantasy XIV. (That's 14 for you non-Romans). We have all the typical things a Free Company wants to have. Stuff like Airships, Chocobo Stables, a house (obviously), a website (again, obviously), and several options for VOIP! So what exactly sets us apart from the neighbors with their large house and shiny lawns?
Well, beyond the fact that the leaders of Organization XIV are the FC jesters, we actually focus on fun. Event participation is not required ever, we talk alot in FC chat, and we all like to have fun, too. Let's face it, FFXIV is a game. We all embrace that mentality and play by it!
Our events are mostly determined by officers currently, but that's not the system we're going for here. Any member can host an event, you just have to run it by an officer so they can make it official and make sure you're not wanting to roast a basket of kittens or something equally devious. Want to do FC-only chocobo races? Go for it. Wanna have a hide and seek contest in Idyllshire? We support your decision, but forever hate you for the lag. Wanna do a class-only Alex Savage run? I support your decision and will cheer you on from the safety of my room.
We boast a whopping… Zero raid teams as of now, but that's not to say you can't be a part of one with us. Want a serious progression group? Set it up. Wanna find a group? I'm sure we could help with that. Wanna do a Warrior-only Second Coil Savage group? I'm sure some people here are just as crazy as you, if not more so.

Is this a mature FC?
Yes. Yes it is. We say 'fuck' a fucking lot. We swear and talk about the jugs on our characters. Let's be honest, why else would you pick a female character? If yer gonna be staring at it for hours a day may as well enjoy the view.
Are there any restrictions on me as a new member?
Yep. After joining you'll receive the 'Recruit' rank and you'll be able to do basically nothing. You'll have access to the house and be able to see the chest, but that's it for FC privileges. This is to ensure you aren't some scrub who just wants to take our shit and leave. This is also for you to 'test out' the FC and see if it's for you or not. No hard feelings if you leave as a recruit. :D
So there will be hard feelings if I leave as a member?

How long does the Recruit period last?
It depends on the person. Everyone is different. If you're active and talk you're more likely to be moved up quicker. Not talking at all is a sure way to never move.
Will you help me do x?
Odds are yes, we will. Am I gonna donate 3m to your relic? Not likely. Will I help you learn T9? Absolutely. Reasonable requests will never be turned away. Again, talking alot ups the chances of people helping. Nobody wants to help someone who's just gonna leave once you get your piece of loot/win.
How can I become a gardener/decorator/action-er?
Ask, basically. Any officer can do it, but if you don't get it don't be offended. There could be a million reasons why. Maybe you only want to give gathering actions when people wanna level. Maybe you have the fashion sense of a man at a football game and would suck at decorating.
Also, while there is no set limit of the number of people per rank, having too many would defeat the purpose of having special ranks for them.
What's the difference between Senior Members and Members?
Senior Members are trusted members. They have shown that they can live without their sanity, they embrace the spirit of the FC, and are just good people. They have access to the chests to get stuff for other people and hold about as much clout as officers do to me. Basically they're the 'Senior Citizens' of the FC.
